Antilles

The Antilles collection encompasses a thoughtful balance between 18th century French Provincial designs and historical reproductions of exotic, brightly colored motifs from India known as Indiennes. These patterns of coordinating fabric and wallcoverings were influenced by the extensive history of the islands' legendary agricultural developments and the highly treasured legacy of the indigo crop. A mix of scenic elements and elegant details taken from antique documents round out this offering of timeless designs.

Influenced from Indonesian batik textiles known for their mystical properties and used as barter for coffee and other local products.
