Anna French Lace Collection

Stunning, pure cotton lace, woven as it was in the Victorian era, is one of the most under-appreciated interior decoration items. Enamored with this classic design element from the start, Anna French began her textile career with lace design and production in Scotland. Continuing to work with that same mill, the last cotton lace mill in the world, Anna French laces remain a widely acclaimed and beautiful addition. The Lace Library by Anna French includes two different qualities of lace: traditional lace, which is more open with a thicker yarn, and Madras lace, which is as fine as mosquito netting. The patterns range from traditional to contemporary, and include a number of whimsical child-inspired patterns.

The romantic appeal of Anna French lace has been captured on the silver screen in the following films: Interview with the Vampire, Room with a View, The Edge of Love, Chariots of Fire, The Piano, and Howards End.
